Prius Carpools

For those who would prefer not to ride bikes to Boston or the bus to Alewife - we have added a Prius carpool option.

A number of people have volunteered to drive their Prius (or other high mileage cars.)

Some cars will be heading to Alewife where you can join the riders on the Red Line to Park Street Station.

Some cars will be heading to Boston Common and parking in the garage underneath the common and just a short walk to Park Street Station.

If you need a ride - leave a comment below.
If you can provide a ride - let us know as well.

We'll match riders up with drivers.

Interactive Maps

Several folks from neighboring towns have requested that we provide links for our bike routes.

We are looking forward to connecting with riders from Bedford and Arlington!

Here are two maps for the ride to Boston

Riding to Alewife

Here's the plan for those riding their bikes to Alewife.

We'll hop on the bike path in Lexington Center and ride it all the way to Mill Street. We'll follow Mill Street to Mass Ave and then back to the bike path at Swan Place to avoid having to ride on sidewalks.

There are plenty of places to lock your bikes at Alewife.

2:10 PM - 2:40 PM Lexington Green to Alewife
2:50 PM - 3:07 PM Red Line to Park Street or
2:57 PM - 3:14 PM

We'll be met by Moving Planet parade marshalls at Park Street Station.
We'll have plenty of time to walk to Christopher Columbus Park.
The regular fare will be $2.00. The senior fare will be $0.60.

Riding Back to Lexington - Bus Riders

There are a number of options for folks taking the bus and the T back to Lexington Center.

If you want to stay to the end of the rally, you can still catch the last bus from Alewife to Lexington Center at 7:00PM.

Once you've decided when you want to leave, there are three reasonable options for where to catch the T.
